Brasserie Wolf at Clarke Quay

A self-confessed Francophile, the first day of my week-long, November 08' Singapore holiday called for a celebratory dinner at a French restaurant of course! The Brasserie Wolf at Singapore's hip Clarke Quay fit the bill perfectly. The Burgundy Escargot in Garlic Butter was relished as well as a platter of Charcuterie and Home Made Goose Foie Gras Terrine with Toast.

The Roasted Rabbit with mushrooms, baby onions, Dijon mustard sauce and tagliatelle left me disappointed. The meat was cooked too long, leaving it rather dry and flaky. The sauce however was delicately tasty.

Roasted Rack of Lamb with Thyme Jus was simply exquisite, leaving me regretting my decision to order the rabbit. The meat was succulent and tender, and cooked to a beautiful pink medium-rare! Ahhh...

Steamed French Bouchot Mussels in White Wine, served with French Fries, gorgeous light dish that would have done better with some French baguette to mop up the delicious garlic, butter sauce!
